Tokyo Drift - Fast and the Furious

Not that our opinion is important, but I kinda just wanted to plug this in to our site. I guess Tokyo Drift, the last of the 3 Fast and the Furious flicks hit it off pretty well. Despite the fact that the story-lines really haven't gotten much better than the previous 2, Tokyo Drift did a pretty good job of keeping my attention throughout the whole movie. The upbeat Tokyo Drift soundtrack was kinda cool (not sure if I'll buy the soundtrack, but...), and the drift cars were of course, pretty sweet. Can't complain about the girls either. The Tokyo Drift girls were much better than the other 2 Fast and the Furious movies.

The drifting sequences in the Tokyo Drift were a bit exaggerated, but were done pretty well. I like the fact that they had actual pro drifters do a lot of the drifting stunts instead of just making it all with special effects. And the way the squeezed in Keiichi Tsuchiya, a.k.a. the original Drift King or pioneeer of drifting, into the movie was a nice touch. The mountain or touge runs were pretty cool as well. So, I guess all of it, the drift cars, the girls and the Tokyo Drift soundtrack, is what made this such a hit at the box office. Or, at least on my home DVD player.
